Un grupo de alumnos de 3º y 4º de la ESO del Colegio Internacional Casa Azul ha participado recientemente en la VI Olimpiada Científica Juvenil Española (OCJE), una destacada iniciativa nacional que reúne a jóvenes talentos de todo el país en torno al conocimiento científico y la innovación.
Celebrada el 20 de abril de 2026 en formato telemático, esta sexta edición ha estado dirigida a estudiantes de hasta 4º de ESO, quienes han tenido la oportunidad de enfrentarse a un reto multidisciplinar que integra distintas áreas de las ciencias naturales. Más allá de los conocimientos académicos, la OCJE propone un enfoque dinámico que impulsa el pensamiento crítico, la creatividad y la capacidad de resolución de problemas en contextos reales.
Durante la competición, desarrollada en nuestro centro bajo la supervisión del profesorado, los participantes han puesto en práctica no solo sus competencias científicas, sino también habilidades clave para su futuro académico y profesional. El trabajo en equipo, la comunicación efectiva, la toma de decisiones y la adaptabilidad han sido elementos fundamentales en la resolución de los desafíos planteados.
La participación en este tipo de iniciativas refleja el firme compromiso del Colegio Internacional Casa Azul con una educación integral, en la que el aprendizaje trasciende el aula y se conecta con experiencias reales que preparan al alumnado para desenvolverse en un entorno global y en constante evolución.
The scientific talent from the Casa Azul International School is taking part in the Spanish Junior Science Olympiad
A group of 3º ESO and 4º ESO from the Casa Azul International School recently took part in the 6th Spanish Youth Science Olympiad (OCJE), a leading national initiative that brings together talented young people from across the country to explore scientific knowledge and innovation.
Held on 20 April 2026 in an online format, this sixth edition was aimed at students up to Year 10, who had the opportunity to tackle a multidisciplinary challenge integrating different areas of the natural sciences. Beyond academic knowledge, the OCJE offers a dynamic approach that fosters critical thinking, creativity and problem-solving skills in real-world contexts.
During the competition, which took place at our school under the supervision of teaching staff, participants put into practice not only their scientific skills but also key abilities for their future academic and professional lives. Teamwork, effective communication, decision-making and adaptability were fundamental elements in solving the challenges presented.
Participation in this type of initiative reflects the firm commitment of the Colegio Internacional Casa Azul to a holistic education, in which learning goes beyond the classroom and connects with real-life experiences that prepare students to thrive in a global and constantly evolving environment.
