This is the way back to school at Colegio El Roble
We are glad to inform you that Colegio El Roble is back in its 3 forms of taking classes:
- Face to face (F2F)
- Hybrid
- Online
We practiced our social distancing and health protocols with our teachers who are fully vaccinated to be prepared from the previous school year. We had a wonderful experience preparing everything for our students to return. The day arrived, and all the teachers and school staff were excited. We received the students and welcomed them with music, photo shoots, amazing smiles that could not be seen, but you could imagine them from below the mouth masks. Throughout the day, students were given tours of their school, introduced to teachers and staff and safety protocols which need to be followed every day. Students were also informed about their Generation Bubbles and the importance of sticking to them. On the first week of school, we had about 70% of F2F students and the rest were online. We were and are the only school in the Supervision area to have returned to F2F classes.
This school year our Middle School students have a new subject in which they will be able to speak another language and learn about its culture. We are proud to announce “Bienvenue aux cours de français!” or better said in English “Welcome to French classes!”. For our 7th grade students this will be a continuation from Elementary school, but for 8th and 9th grades, this is new.
