Every month, the 4th and 5th grade students of Assalam International School publish school newspapers full of various content.

May vote, my choice!

Assalam International School students held their first-ever school president and class representative election and elected their own presidents. For a week before, the candidates talked about their promises and they talked about what to do. Afterwards, they held an election in a completely professional and confidential manner.

We listen to the professions first hand

In our project-based curriculum that we follow, when the subject is professions, our teachers chose an interesting and very instructive and memorable way for their students to teach. The first occupational group to be dealt with was the police and gendarmes. The team, who came to visit us from the police station in the village and tell us what they were doing, attracted the attention of our students.

AIS School Trips

Every month, we organize various activities and school/cultural trips with our students. This month we went to the zoo with our little kindergarten students and went to the Prison Island with the upper classes to see the giant tortoises.

Happy Teacher Happy Student

Our teachers from different parts of the world come together on the last Saturday of every month to refresh the team spirit! There is so much to learn from each other.

Istanbul International School is in Zanzibar!

It is true that we, Assalam Community Foundation, have dozens of projects and new ones are added every day, but our priority has always been school and education. For Assalam International School, which started this term as a member of the International Schools Association and even as the owner of the humanism award. There is not a day that we do not search for the best! Now we have started to cooperate with Istanbul International School, they even came to Zanzibar to visit our school. They organized workshops here for 7 days and we shared our experiences with each other. We are very excited and full of hope for the future!
