PYP Unit End Exhibition: Making Learning Visible

International Schools Association

Swostishree Gurukul proudly hosted the PYP Unit End Exhibition for learners of PYP 2, 3, 4, and 5, providing a meaningful platform for students to share their learning journeys with their parents and the wider school community.

The exhibition was a vibrant celebration of inquiry, conceptual understanding, reflection, and student agency. Through engaging presentations, creative displays, demonstrations, and thoughtful reflections, learners showcased the knowledge, skills, and understandings they had developed throughout their current Units of Inquiry. Each presentation highlighted not only what students had learned but also how they had made meaningful connections between their learning and the world around them.

Parents had the opportunity to interact with learners, explore their work, and gain insight into the inquiry process that drives learning in the Primary Years Programme (PYP). Learners confidently communicated their ideas, explained their understanding of key concepts, and reflected on the growth they experienced during the unit.

The exhibition demonstrated the development of important IB Approaches to Learning (ATL) skills, including communication, research, self-management, and thinking skills. Most importantly, it reflected the spirit of the IB Learner Profile as students showed confidence, curiosity, reflection, and a strong sense of ownership over their learning.

The event was a wonderful reminder that learning is most powerful when learners actively construct understanding, share their thinking, and celebrate their growth with others.
