After last year’s success with the creation of a smart pet feeder, in this edition the Agora Portals team is preparing with renewed enthusiasm to face new challenges and materialise ideas which make a difference.
Technology is an essential part of the pupils’ learning: through the subject Technology, Robotics & Coding, our pupils develop computational thinking in a space specially designed to promote creativity, such as the Innovation Centre inaugurated in May 2023. In the words of its director, Rafael Barea, ‘We have to teach them to use artificial intelligence, to be critical of it and to cite it in their work’. Agora Portals stands out for being an educational centre which opens doors to the development of each pupil’s individual talents: through IB, languages, STEAM, sports and shaping the world, pupils learn not only academic content but also develop skills which enable them to become responsible citizens with the capacity to shape the world and make it a better place.
