Thanksgiving celebration at Liceo Los Cabos was born with a simple wish: to open our students’ hearts to a tradition from another country, and in doing so, give them a chance to learn, connect, and grow. Through each activity, we hoped they would not only discover new vocabulary and practice English, but also experience the joy of learning in ways that felt playful, meaningful, and full of warmth.
As they crafted, played, shared, and explored, our students were invited to see beyond words and worksheets — to feel the beauty of gratitude, togetherness, and celebration. Each smile, each moment of curiosity, each small accomplishment became part of a larger journey: understanding that language is not just spoken, but lived.
These photos capture more than activities; they capture emotions, discoveries, and the magic that happens when children open themselves to new cultures with openness and wonder. We hope that, through this project, our students not only learned English, but also felt inspired by a tradition that celebrates the power of giving thanks, of appreciating one another, and of finding joy in simple moments.
