International Schools Association

Agora Madrid International School, an international school located in Villaviciosa de Odón(Madrid, Spain), has once again renewed its Green Flag as an Eco-School, a distinction awarded by the international Eco-Schools programme to schools committed to sustainability and environmental education.

The award, which the school has maintained uninterruptedly for several years, recognises the ongoing efforts of the entire educational community to embed environmental care into everyday school life. This year, students and teachers have launched new initiatives to improve resource management, reduce environmental impact, and raise awareness across the community about the importance of climate action.

To mark the occasion, the school held a symbolic ceremony highlighting the meaning of being part of Eco-Schools: commitment, action, and global awareness.

“Our students are the true driving force behind this achievement. Thanks to their dedication, creativity, and hard work, we continue to make progress towards a greener, more responsible, and more conscious school,” said the school’s leadership team.

With this renewal, Agora Madrid International School reaffirms its commitment to providing an education that not only strives for academic excellence but also fosters social responsibility and a commitment to the future of our planet
