Nika School First Graders Pupils Embark on a Unique Vertical Greenhouse Project

International Schools Association

Students of the first grade have begun participating in a unique project focused on the creation and use of a vertical greenhouse. This project will allow the children to learn the fundamentals of biology and modern agricultural technologies.

A vertical greenhouse is an innovative solution for growing plants, enabling harvests regardless of the season or climate. By utilizing modern technologies, such as LED lighting that simulates different times of day, plants grow significantly faster. This allows for the effective cultivation of a variety of crops, including flowers, greens, and vegetables.

During the holidays, specialists, with the involvement of the students, set up the farm and planted the first crops. Now, the children will be able to observe the growth and development of their “green friends.” In subsequent stages of the project, agronomists will remotely monitor the process through specialized devices.

We to express our immense gratitude to the parents of the first graders for their support and assistance in implementing this wonderful project. We are confident that it will not only provide an interesting and educational experience for the children but also help them better understand the basics of biology and the importance of modern agricultural technologies.
