Swostishree Gurukul IB World School, located in Sano Bharyang, Kathmandu, has successfully hosted a grand ceremony to announce its official authorization for the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP). The event was attended by students, teachers, and staff, who showcased their learning experiences through song and dance performances.
The Chief Minister of Bagmati Province, Bahadur Singh Lama, graced the event as the chief guest, congratulating the school on this prestigious achievement and praising its dedication to educational excellence. Special guest, the Social Development Minister of Bagmati Province, Hari Prabha Khadgi, also commended the school’s efforts in fostering a holistic development environment for students.
The school’s Founder and Chairman, former Minister and Provincial Assembly Member of Lalitpur, Ramkrishna Chitrakar, reiterated the school’s commitment to providing quality education for the overall development of students. School Director Mina Maharjan Chitrakar and Information and Communication Head Chirag Wangdel were also present.
In her address, Principal Neha KC expressed gratitude to the teachers for their hard work and dedication, as well as to the parents for their continuous support, which contributed to the school’s rapid accomplishments.
