Glory on the Futsal Court: Swostishree Gurukul Triumphs in U-16 Inter-School Competition

Organizers Swostishree Gurukul IB World School have secured the title in the U-16 inter-school futsal competition. In the final match, Swostishree defeated Pathshala Nepal Foundation with a score of 4-3. The game was tied 1-1 at the end of the stipulated time. Paramount School secured the third position.

In the final, Swostishree’s Rihanman Joshi displayed excellent goalkeeping skills, while Swastishree’s Aroav Sharma showcased his exceptional striking ability. Manil Adhikari from Pathshala Nepal Foundation was declared the top scorer. The fair play trophy was awarded to Swostishree Gurukul.

In the U-14 age group, RIBS emerged as the champions. RIBS defeated Swostishree Gurukul in the final with a 3-0 scoreline. RIBS’s Bless Gurung scored 2 goals, and Shraman Gurung added 1 goal. The third position was secured by The Excelsior School.

RIBS’s Ayush K.C. was named the outstanding goalkeeper, and Swostishree’s Deep Khatri was recognized as an excellent player.

Victorious teams were honored by Mr. Shiv Koirla, Deputy Chairperson of the National Sports Council; Mr. Ganesh Kakshapati, Chairperson of the Kathmandu District Sports Development Committee; Mr. Dayaram Thapa, Principal of Bright Future School; Miss Saru Limbu, a player from the National Women’s Football Team; and Miss Meena Maharjan, Managing Director of Swostishree Gurukul.
