From Nepal to Paris—A Journey of Pride, Perseverance, and Global Excellence

International Schools Association

At the Paris World Games 2026, Swostishree Gurukul IB Continuum School had the privilege of representing Nepal alongside more than 400 teams from over 50 countries, celebrating the true spirit of sportsmanship, friendship, and cultural exchange.

The journey began with the spectacular Opening Ceremony beneath the iconic Eiffel Tower, where our young athletes proudly wore traditional Nepali attire, showcasing the beauty of our heritage to the world. It was a powerful reminder that while we compete in sports, we also carry the identity, values, and culture of our nation wherever we go.

One of the most memorable highlights of our visit was the honor of meeting the Ambassador of Nepal to France at the Embassy of Nepal in Paris. Receiving warm wishes and congratulations from the Ambassador made this achievement even more meaningful and strengthened our pride in representing Nepal on the international stage.

The journey reached its proudest milestone as Team Swostishree secured the Bronze Medal (3rd Place) in the Plate Championship, marking a historic achievement for both our school and Nepal.

This success is a testament to the dedication of our student-athletes, the unwavering commitment of our coaches, the encouragement of our parents, and the collective support of the entire Swostishree family. Every challenge embraced, every match played, and every moment shared reflected resilience, teamwork, and the determination to make our nation proud.

To our champions—thank you for proving that with passion, discipline, and courage, dreams know no boundaries.

Together, we didn’t just participate—we represented Nepal with pride, celebrated our culture with confidence, and returned home with memories and achievements that will inspire generations to come.

Congratulations, Team Swostishree
