El pasado 9 de octubre de 2025, el Colegio Internacional Casa Azul recibió a tres destacados ponentes, entre los cuales, se encontraban dos antiguos alumnos que regresaron al centro para compartir con los estudiantes de 3.º de ESO su experiencia académica y profesional: don Javier García Millward, graduado en Dirección y Creación de Empresas; don César Álvarez de Peraza, fundador de Álvarez Capital Partners; y don Adán González Rodríguez, ingeniero de software y especialista en blockchain.
La visita tuvo como objetivo ofrecer un foro de orientación que permitiera a los alumnos conocer de primera mano distintos ámbitos del mundo laboral y, al mismo tiempo, fomentar competencias personales claves para su futuro.
Durante su intervención, don Javier, quien forma parte importante de la gestión de nuestro colegio, explicó con claridad el funcionamiento interno de una empresa y analizó la importancia de la inflación en la economía nacional. Su exposición destacó la necesidad de la comunicación efectiva y la resolución de problemas, habilidades imprescindibles para cualquier entorno empresarial.
A continuación, don César abordó conceptos de macroeconomía como el Producto Interior Bruto, el desempleo o los tipos de interés. Más allá de los datos técnicos, sus consejos subrayaron el valor de la capacidad analítica, la toma de decisiones responsables y la adaptabilidad ante los cambios del mercado.
Por su parte, Don Adán ofreció una ponencia especialmente creativa sobre la evolución del dinero y el nacimiento de las criptomonedas. A través de un relato contado a modo de cuento, consiguió despertar la curiosidad del alumnado y demostrar cómo la creatividad y el pensamiento crítico pueden convertir la tecnología en una herramienta al servicio del futuro financiero.
La jornada, marcada por la cercanía y el entusiasmo de los ponentes, no solo aportó conocimientos económicos y tecnológicos, sino que también reforzó el desarrollo de competencias personales que facilitan el trabajo en equipo, la comunicación y la iniciativa, pilares fundamentales para el crecimiento académico y humano de nuestros estudiantes.
Sin duda, una experiencia que dejó huella y que anima a seguir aprendiendo con actitud abierta, curiosa y colaborativa.
FORUM ON FINANCIAL EDUCATION, ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND INVESTMENT.-
On 9 October 2025, Casa Azul International School welcomed three distinguished speakers, including two former students who returned to the school to share their academic and professional experiences with Year 10 students: Mr Javier García Millward, a graduate in Business Management and Creation; Mr César Álvarez de Peraza, founder of Álvarez Capital Partners; and Mr Adán González Rodríguez, software engineer and blockchain specialist.
The aim of the visit was to provide a guidance forum that would allow students to learn first-hand about different areas of the world of work and, at the same time, to promote key personal skills for their future.
During his presentation, Mr Javier, who plays an important role in the management of our school, clearly explained the internal workings of a company and analysed the importance of inflation in the national economy. His presentation highlighted the need for effective communication and problem solving, essential skills in any business environment.
César then addressed macroeconomic concepts such as gross domestic product, unemployment and interest rates. Beyond the technical data, his advice emphasised the value of analytical skills, responsible decision-making and adaptability to market changes.
For his part, Don Adán gave a particularly creative presentation on the evolution of money and the birth of cryptocurrencies. Through a story told in the form of a fairy tale, he managed to arouse the curiosity of the students and demonstrate how creativity and critical thinking can turn technology into a tool at the service of the financial future.
The day, marked by the approachability and enthusiasm of the speakers, not only provided economic and technological knowledge, but also reinforced the development of personal skills that facilitate teamwork, communication and initiative, fundamental pillars for the academic and human growth of our students.
Without a doubt, it was an experience that left its mark and encourages us to continue learning with an open, curious and collaborative attitude.
