Agora Lledó, the host school for the International Music Festival, welcomed over 300 students from 24 schools for a historic concert that united talent, emotion, and educational excellence through music.
On Thursday 29 January, the Auditori i Palau de Congressos de Castellón hosted one of the most anticipated Globeducate events of the school calendar. Agora Lledó International School organised and hosted the International Music Festival, where more than 300 students from 24 Globeducate schools took part in this unique musical event, which was met with a magnificent reception this year.
Students as young as seven filled the stage with talent and emotion: 100 musicians and 200 choir members performed five pieces from Symphonic Adiemus by the renowned composer Karl Jenkins. It was a work of immense technical complexity and profound emotional depth, delivered with a majestic result. Each musician demonstrated the effort and passion they invest in their shared craft.
In addition to the large physical audience, this 14th edition achieved excellent global participation; over 2,500 people followed the concert via livestream on the school’s YouTube channel, turning the event into a truly global celebration of music and education.
“It is a point of great pride to see our students demonstrate that music is, truly, the universal voice.” – Luis Madrid, Headmaster of Agora Lledó International School.
