This week, the AD (Elite Athlete Support) program, designed by Agora Lledó for young athletes looking to balance high-level sports and studies, was officially introduced.
As pioneers of this edu-sports program, the first students of their AD program (Elite Athlete Support) were presented. Paco, Inés, Clara, Javi, and Hugo are now prepared to compete at the highest level in golf and rhythmic gymnastics.
Luis Madrid, the director of Agora Lledó, met with them to plan the upcoming school year and continue conveying the school’s commitment to young elite athletes. Initially, these students will focus on golf and rhythmic gymnastics, but the aspiration is to accommodate any high-level young athlete who wishes to combine a highly individualized academic program with high standards.
Students will benefit from specific “sports coaching” hours at the school, mindfulness classes, stress management, as well as adapted schedules for subjects, exams, and assignments. This flexibility will allow them to seamlessly balance not only their training but also the various competitions that these young talents face week after week.
The school hopes to even incorporate a professional athlete who can provide specific support in some areas of the mental preparation of these students, who endure additional stress compared to other young individuals.
This alliance has been established, for now, between Agora Lledó International School, Sergio García Golf Academy, and Club Deportivo Lledó, with the goal of supporting the academic and athletic development of these young talents, who are all about passion and effort, and with the aim of extending it to many other sports clubs in the province.
Undoubtedly, an excellent and unique program that aims to nurture talent and once again positions the province of Castellón as a reference point.
In parallel with the launch of this program, the school has announced that it has arranged logistics for daily transportation of students from Valencia and Tarragona to attend classes at the center. This will facilitate the participation of young individuals from these neighboring provinces at Agora Lledó.
The school’s objective is to incorporate new sports clubs into the AD Program to continue supporting young athletic and academic talent.
