A bilingual project by form 3 students from Woodside School

International Schools Association

At the start of the year, an unexpected visit from a swarm of bees to Woodside School’s playground sparked the curiosity of our Form 3 students. This chance encounter inspired a bilingual project titled “What Would Happen If There Were No Bees in the World?”—a learning initiative aimed at exploring the importance of bees in our ecosystem.

Through inquiry-based learning, students are delving into the alarming decline of bee populations, discovering the crucial role pollinators play in biodiversity, food production, and ecological balance. By connecting a real-life event at school to a global environmental issue, Woodside School is fostering awareness, curiosity, and a sense of environmental responsibility in its learners.
