Students from Agora Lledo International School in Castellon visit JOHNSON SPACE CENTER in Houston
The students from the Agora Lledo International School in Castellon, together with ten other students from other schools in Spain, went for a week to the JOHNSON SPACE CENTER in Houston, Texas https://www.nasa.gov/johnson/ to learn about Space technology.
The event was organised by SPACE CENTER U and consisted in a Mars simulation where the students had to work in teams to construct possible habitats on the red planet.
Working in daily 4-hour sessions, the teams designed, physically built and finally presented their projects to SPACE CENTER U.
Talking with some of the students, this trip had given them an insight into possible future career opportunities in engineering, robotics and design.
