Joint Collaboration with Silver Oaks India

The unmistakeable flutter of ‘dosti’ was felt in all hearts as our very own Ivy saplings joined hands with the Silver Oaks School, India to promote cross-border collaboration and peace through a joint project. A shared ethos of love and harmony pervaded, as children from both schools participated whole-heartedly and were excited to meet their friends from across the border. Participants shared important facts about their respective countries and explored what they knew about each other. The highlight of the session was when a young man from India asked about ‘Anarkali Bazaar’ in Lahore – a much mentioned name by his grandmother in India!

At Ivy, we strongly believe that Diversity, Equity and Inclusion are the strengths of any community and we are proud to say that our students, staff and faculty are all advocates of this ideology. We believe in celebrating differences in culture, ethnicity, background and identity because this is what empowers our people. Here’s to building more tolerance and everlasting ‘dosti’ in our upcoming generations.

Seen in the picture is a fun dance performed by our saplings on a song about friendship.
