Andy Amir Rocks Swostishree Gurukul

On the 25th of Jan 2024, Andy Amir Attaie, an English teacher, a Harvard Scholar and a motivational speaker, delivered a rousing session at Swostihsree Gurukul IB World School, Kathmandu on how to become more confident.

The session which was attended by the whole school focused on key points that can help anyone become or look more confident. Mr. Amir started with an interactive session asking students to come to the front and share their dreams and proceeded onto the 5 points that help us look more confident. It was amazing to see his exuberance and confidence transfer to the students.

The session concluded with a game where the learners had to come up with things/names related to a given topic. Around 20 were chosen for the game although many more were willing to.

All in all it was wonderful having the opportunity to host Andy and the learners definitely benefited from the experience.

The other day one of the students said that she used the same techniques to feel confident when she was participating in the World Scholar’s Cup-Regional Round, which is a testament of Andy’s influence on the learners.
