ÁGORA LLEDÓ BEST IB schol IN SPAIN

Agora Lledó International School is among the 5 best schools in Europe for the International Baccalaureate (IB), the system chosen by Spanish Princess Eleanor to continue her studies in Wales.

Surrounded by orange groves and located between the shores of the Mediterranean and the Desierto de Las Palmas Natural Park, the Agora Lledó International School, belonging to the Globeducate group, has managed to be the best IB school in Spain for the second year in a row. by achieving the best 4th academic result in the average of its students, and among the 30 best averages in the world.

Ágora Lledó is established as the best International Baccalaureate school in the historical series over the last 5 years and has not fallen below the top 10 position in the EEA (European Economic Area).

In Ágora Lledó we can find one of the best IB schools in Europe and topping the national rankings of results in IB. The results of the International Baccalaureate assessment tests once again placed the Agora Lledó International School of Castellón as the best IB school in Spain and one of the 5 best at European level. Lledó students obtained an average score of 38.6 points last year (equivalent to 9.3 on the national high school scale, since it is evaluated over 45 points), with half of the students exceeding 40. Therefore, above the world average score, which has reached 33.02.

It is noteworthy that these results have occurred in a Covid context, very difficult for the development of education. Faced with the difficulties of this complicated situation, the Lledó school has managed, however, to surpass itself with respect to what it has achieved in previous years. The numbers of the IB tests must be attached to those of the EvAU exams (better known as Selectividad). The 39 students presented to the EvAU of the Lledó school achieved an average in the general phase of 7,851, of which more than 38% obtained 12 or more points and more than 15% obtained more than 13.

In addition to the IB environment, the different educational “rankings” placed Lledó in the top positions on the national and international scene throughout the past year, being considered by different foreign placement agencies as a “preferred school for international families who move to the area “,” digital reference school “, or ” among the 30 most innovative schools in the world”.

In the same way, Forbes magazine has also placed the Agora Lledó International School among the 25 best schools in Spain based on criteria that valued different issues of quality in teaching such as its eminent international character, the ecological commitment of the school (as shown by belonging to the Eco Schools Environmental Awareness Project), professional music studies at the Agora Lledó Music Conservatory or host programmess for foreign students with Host Families programmes.
