To commemorate Animal Day, Casa Azul School organised a collaborative activity in which Year 3 pupils became guides for Year 1 pupils in an immersive experience about the animal world.
This outdoor activity allowed students to research different species, bring them to life through augmented reality, and discover interesting facts using artificial intelligence. At the same time, by taking on the role of teachers for a day and becoming transmitters of knowledge, they also worked on various essential skills and abilities, such as communication, teamwork, and planning, as they organised and presented information to their classmates.
This experience was possible thanks to the fact that Casa Azul International School has become a pioneer in the Canary Islands and Spain in incorporating Limitless Education into its classrooms. This innovative tool combines augmented reality and artificial intelligence, allowing students to explore concepts related to natural and social sciences in an experiential and immersive way through virtual laboratories.
This technology will also enable the school’s teaching staff to continue designing meaningful learning experiences, adapted to the curriculum content and aimed at promoting a deeper and more lasting understanding.
These initiatives reflect Casa Azul’s approach to education and respond to the demands of the 21st century, promoting active learning, critical thinking and the experience of shared values.
