Agora Portals, the First School in the Balearic Islands with the Full IB Continuum

International Schools Association

We proudly share a milestone that marks a turning point in the history of our school: Agora Portals International School has been officially authorized as a Middle Years Programme (MYP) school by the International Baccalaureate (IB) Organization.

This achievement—resulting from two years of training, implementation, and evaluation—makes us the first and only school in the Balearic Islands to offer the full IB Continuum, from Early Years to the Diploma Programme. And one of the 40 school who are authorised.

🗣️ “We are the first school in the Balearic Islands with the full IB Continuum. This is a historic moment that reflects our commitment to a global, holistic, and high-quality education,” highlights the school’s Head.

What does this mean for our students? It means offering them a consistent, rigorous, and deeply human international educational journey from age 3 to 18. It means shaping students who are critical thinkers, socially aware, and equipped with real-life skills to face the challenges of today’s world.

Through the PYP, MYP, and DP, our students don’t just acquire knowledge—they learn how to inquire, reflect, collaborate, and act responsibly. They grow into informed, empathetic, and engaged global citizens.

Moreover, thanks to the IB Continuum, students who choose the Diploma Programme enter this final stage with a much stronger foundation, which gives them greater confidence and a distinct advantage compared to other educational models.

A shared success

This certification is the result of the collective effort of our entire educational community: the tireless dedication of our teaching staff, the trust of our families, and the motivation and commitment of our students.

At Agora Portals, we will continue to work with passion and purpose to provide a transformative education that inspires our youth to build a fairer, more sustainable, and globally connected future.
